I purchased this book to use in an activity program for alzheimer's residents. The book is not childish, which is what I wanted and actually very hard to find. The pictures are large and colorful and the wording is easy to read and understand. It is exactly what I was looking for. There are 2 more books in this series and I will definitely be ordering them!
I bought this as a gift for my grand-nephew and it is a colorful and fun book. It was exactly as I had expected and he enjoys it.

My young boys love farming and everything that goes along with it. This book does an incredible job with the photography to show the readers some of the machines and tractors that are used on farms. Great pictures, great captions. I highly recommed this book.
This book is a complete ripoff!!! It has only 15 pages-one picture of each piece of farm equipment and the rest is showing off somebodies kids/grandkids. Extremely disappointing.
Accurate agriculture books are hard to come by. Chris Peterson uses her own experience on the farm to help convey the message of modern agriculture. The MN Farm Bureau Federation Promotion and Education Committee selected Fantastic Farm Machines as their 2007 Book of the Year.
